Job Description

Now Hiring!Safety OfficerNewfoundland HVAC Limited; a Mechanical & Electrical Contractor in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador is looking to add to its team and is now seeking a Safety Officer for a project in Gander, NL for a Period of 3 to 4 months with the possibility for full time employment after project completion.The ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Understand the OH&S Legislation
  • Be able to Identify & rectify potential safety hazards
  • Be able to Develop strategies to Control Risk
  • Be able to Complete Site Inspections, Hazard Assessments, Toolbox Talks, Incident Reports
  • Be able to Champion company safety policies & guidelines
Required Credentials:
  • OH&S Program & Certificate
  • WHMIS
  • First Aid
  • OH&S Committee
  • Power Line Hazards
