Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY: The principal and usual work of the person in this job class is to carry out various administrative tasks of a relatively complex nature according to established methods and procedures, and to perform secretarial work related to the activities of the Human Resources department.Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, this person will provide administrative support to human resources personnel. The Administrative Support Officer - Class I will contribute to the smooth running of the Human Resources Department, performing all tasks inherent to this position and ensuring the confidentiality and smooth running of the Department #39;s operations.In addition, this person will assist Human Resources with tasks related to the posting, recruitment, staffing and integration of personnel.DUTIES:

  • Assist in providing administrative support in all activities related to job posting, recruitment of personnel, job interview process, and integration of employees, etc.;
  • Print, scan and photocopy work related to Human Resources;
  • Provide assistance with the digitizing documents, converting from or to PDF and making them interactive;
  • Provide assistance with the communication of information using different digital platforms (Omnivox, Teams, etc.);
  • Assist in the management of the archives of the Human Resources as per the College’s classification system;
  • Apply guidelines and procedures/policies related to the service;
  • May be asked to take part in College-wide activities;
  • Assist in the follow-ups and in the organization of meeting and assist in the preparation of documents related to meetings managed by Human Resources. e.g.:LRB, PD, etc.;
  • May be called to take notes during meetings;
  • If need be, perform any other related tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Must have a secondary V diploma in an appropriate specialty, or a diploma or attestation recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of pertinent experience.
  • Must possess very good communication skills in English and in French (oral, written and comprehension).
  • Experience as a user with Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook is essential.
  • Must like working in high complexity fast-paced environment.

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and exercise discretion.
SALARY RANGE (PER HOUR): 22.36$ - 25.00$
