The successful candidate as a Project Manager/Project Management Officer should possess the following:

  • Excellent understanding of the healthcare and social services sectors.
  • Experience supporting public sector and/or organizations.
  • Language(s): Bilingual - French and English mandatory: both languages written and spoken at professional/advanced level.
  • Education level: Business administration degree and/or administration degree in health sector or any related discipline supported with equivalent level of professional experience as a project manager/project management officer.
  • A minimum of 5 year of direct experience coordinating, controlling, and managing complex projects in health and social services sector, especially assisting long-term care needs for the elderly and/or senior retirement homes.
  • Specialized and knowledgeable in project management and change management principles.
  • Certifications in PMP, Lean six-sigma and/or similar.
Some of the tasks to be performed, but not limited to the following:
  • Coordinate and manage the project in close collaboration, implement project tasks aimed at realizing organization #39;s vision and strategic objectives, provide support to the teams involved.
  • Coordinate the activities of business teams to deliver solutions that best meet the needs of users/clients and the organization.
  • Coordinate work related to risk management, change management and accountability, evaluate and provide recommendation of recognized and standard management practices as well as support the management teams in developing systematic mechanisms to ensure sustenance of practices established.
  • Participate in the development of a project organization manual, evaluate the current services, make conclusions and recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan and monitor the progress of work, establish procedures and/or process to monitor the performance of deployed methodology ensuring the quality.
  • Report on project progress to the concerned stakeholders.
  • Available to travel and accompany project team members and concerned stakeholders on various sites around Outaouais region.

  • Creative in resolving complex situations.
