The Teladoc Health Canada team comprises of a world-class virtual practice of providers with a passion for taking care of people and a devotion to clinical excellence. From family medicine to mental health to specialist medical advice, our providers help millions of Canadians resolve their healthcare needs with confidence through technologyamp; innovation. With our emphasis on medical quality, we place tremendous focus and resources on clinical innovation, standards, and measurement to enable our providers to deliver the best outcome for every patient.The position is remote, you can add to your current clinical caseload or build an entire telemedicine mental health caseload depending on the provinces you are licensed in. This unique opportunity will contribute to shaping the evolution of virtual care in Canada as an industry standard.This is an ideal role for a healthcare professional with a background working with individuals and families in chronic illnesses (Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists.), who wants to join an exciting global mission to transform future healthcare!AS A TELADOC MENTAL HEALTH PSYCHOTHERAPIST YOU WILL:

  • Provide the best in-class patient care for Teladoc Health (TH) members via both video and phone interactions
  • Assess TH members mental health concerns and perform psychotherapy
  • Maintain complete, timely and legible clinical records
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal, provincial and territorial health information privacy laws

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
  • Master’s degree in relevant field with 3-5 years’ experience in providing evidence-based treatment through cognitive and behavioural therapies, experiential and humanistic therapies, psychodynamic therapies, somatic therapies and systemic, and collaborative therapeutic approaches.
  • Registered as a member in good standing with the appropriate College and eligible to provide the controlled act of psychotherapy as either a Registered Social Worker, Registered Occupational Therapist, Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Psychologist.
  • Quebec psychotherapists must obtain a permit to practice psychotherapy through l’Ordre des psychologues du Québec.
  • Bilingual: French/English required.
  • Must complete ALS training in house.
