We are seeking to appoint an experienced Challenge Events fundraiser to take up a fixed term contract in our Public Fundraising Team as our Challenge and Virtual Events Manager. The role will be until the end of April 2024 with the potential to be made permanent. Our Challenge Events programme is well established at Barnardo #39;s and offers runs, treks and more recently virtual challenges. The role is an integral member of the Public Fundraising team, working closely with the Senior Challenge Events Manager to use insight to identify, develop and deliver opportunities for income generation, internal stakeholder collaboration and innovative product development within their programme. The Event Manager will develop new Virtual Challenges, manage bespoke UK and Overseas Events and the strategic direction of key third-party Events. It is an exciting time for the Challenge and Virtual Events team at Barnardo #39;s following growth across our third-party Challenge Events, the development of new partnerships and bespoke events and the innovation of our Virtual Event portfolio.
