There is a focus on quality of service, client and end user satisfaction and cost management.   • Act as a single point of contact to the Service Delivery Manager for clients’ operations excellence;
  • Interface regularly with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure ongoing client satisfaction pertaining to Client Operations service delivery;
  • Tracks incidents to ensure root cause are identified, mitigation plans are in place and summaries are provided to the Service Delivery Manager and Client Engagement Director/Manager;
  • Priority incident coordination and communication with Cybersecurity vertical leads and Service Delivery Manager;
  • Assist in IT security investigations, exercises and tests;
  • Respond to various requests related to operational security;
  • Ensure the follow-up of patches related to operational security;
  • Governs control mechanisms to ensure reliable, and available continuous services to clients’ in accordance with SLA’s;
  • Participate in the Operational Readiness Review process to provide input for the Service Delivery Manager accountable for operational acceptance and signoff;
  • Manage Change Requests to ensure successful and efficient execution of approved Change Requests;
  • Non-Standard Service Requests (NSSRs) deployment tracking with service delivery team to monitor progress and address roadblocks;
  • Track and maintain clients’ managed assets and asset versions under the different CGI repertoires;
  • Participate in client audit evidence gathering;
  • Produce and update security operations processes and procedures;
  • Creation monthly reports (specified clients) (ongoing, manual work activities);
  • Research, consultation with colleagues and training to maintain awareness of trends in new security threats, technologies and regulations; and
  • Act as a champion in creating a customer focused culture.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • 3-5 years of Information Technology experience
  • 1-3 years of experience with Managed Service Client and/or Service Delivery management
  • Post-secondary degree or college diploma/certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related Information Technology programs
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and experience communicating effectively with clients, vendors and colleagues, both technical and non-technical personnel;
  • Innovative, open-minded, good judgment, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Autonomy, initiative, leadership and team spirit;
  • Very good learning ability, willing to share knowledge and learn from others;
  • Ability to deal with aggressive timelines and the associated pressure;
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation in English;
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve conflict while minimizing impact to ongoing customer operations, reputation and relationship;
  • Team player with good time-management and organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to present ideas to peers, team members and clients;
  • Ability to speak and write in fluent English;
  • Ability to obtain at least a Government of Canada security clearance of Level 1 (Enhanced Reliability Clearance - ERC).

  • Cyber Security experience
  • Knowledge and experience with security controls such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Web Content Filtering (WCF), File Integrity Management (FIM), Host/Network Intrusion (IDS/IPS), Vulnerability Management (CVA), Web Application Firewall (WAF), NG-FW, Firewalls, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Security Information Event Management (SIEM), Log Management
  • Ability to speak and write in French
  • Ability to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance of Level II (Secret)
