  • Uses computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software to develop designs
  • Create and revise production drawings
  • Adhere to company Drafting and Engineering Standards
  • Responsible for maintaining an organized file system for Production Drawings
  • The duties and responsibilities mentioned, while not exhaustive, represent responsibilities that the CAD Operator will hold. The responsibilities listed may change over time, as instructed by INVIRO.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Prior exposure to drafting mechanical building systems in CAD (HVACamp; Plumbing emphasis)
  • Degree or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of the ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systems
  • The ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, to read complex blueprints, piping sketches, schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • French communication skills are an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD design software
