We are looking to expand our team here at Urban Life Solutions. If you are an experienced Procurement Coordinator in the construction field, we are looking for you!This position will be responsible for seeking opportunities on multiple tender websites/sources, and provide a complete preliminary review of opportunity content prior to handing the package off to the sales team. This role is responsible for anything to do with seeking and maintaining work for the company!Responsibilities: Working in accordance with Urban Life Solutions policies and proceduresSearch multiple tender websites and other opportunitiesComplete a preliminary review of all tender requirements and present a handoff package with notes to sales and management to complete pricing – importance on bonding requirementsResponsible for putting together the final package for Management review minimum 48H prior to tender closeResponsible for compiling the final package and acquiring necessary signatures prior to submitting to client,Responsible for keeping a spreadsheets on file of all tender opportunities and identify them as in progress, bid submitted, bid sold, or bid lost. This report is to be sent to Management weekly,For successful opportunities you are to put together the necessary insurance, WSIB, and submittals for final signature,Assist with seasonal contract renewals prior to the beginning of each season (Landscape & Snow)RequiredMinimum 5 years industry related experienceDetailed knowledge of Urban Life Solutions ServicesUnderstanding of legislation that may impact sales, management of human resources, service delivery or contractsUnderstanding of tender language and specific conditionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft, SharePoint, LMN and other related software programsValid Driver’s LicensePreferredPrevious landscaping, snow removal, or maintenance experience is an assetAbility to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a teamMotivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethicUnderstanding of contract language, identifying risks, and specific conditions.What we offer: Full benefits plan and RRSP matching up to 3%, paid training, opportunity for growth, and above average compensation packageWhy Urban Life SolutionsUrban Life Solutions offers year round employment.
