Key Accountabilities
  • Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and act is a safe manner at all times to ensure the Health and Safety of the work environment;
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment and loading/unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
  • Operates and drives service equipment and assists with job site preparation;
  • Rigging equipment in and out;
  • Clean and maintain equipment and ensure equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order;
  • Properly complete paper documentation for the job, including pre/post trips;
  • Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards, trip reports and vehicle inspection reports
  • Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
  • Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers and supervisors
Requirements
  • Class 3 license is required;
  • Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (e.g. First Aid with CPR, H2S, Confined Space Entry); will provide training
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team and in a safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;
  • Willingness to travel is considered an asset
