What will you do in this job:
  • Work as per the company values: Safety First, Honour Place, Bring Your Best and Anticipate
  • Work closely within a team environment to ensure material is produced on time while keeping Safety and Quality at the forefront
What skills and experience do you need for this job:
  • Health and Safety training
  • Red Seal ticket an asset, but not required
  • Safety & Quality focused
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Produce quality carpentry
  • First Aid certification an asset
  • Experienced Carpenter with at least 3 years’ experience with construction and framing
  • Knowledgeable with all power and pneumatic tools
  • Must be able to work independently or with a team
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, early mornings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Ability to lift 50lb
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Tool belt with hand tools.

What will your work environment be like:This fun summer job runs from March 14 to September 4 or October 28, 2022.
  • Beautiful. You’ll work in iconic, unforgettable and inspiring locations. You’ll see amazing scenery and wildlife. You’ll participate in team events – and fun!
  • Independent. You’ll spend your days in and around National Parks
  • Remote. Our home is filled with trees, lakes and blue-bird skies; rather than buildings, freeways and smog. Connect with friends around a bonfire instead of through WiFi
  • Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
