What will be your daily pursuit:Offer daily support, coaching and direction to the front of house team in the pursuit of hospitality excellence.What perks can you expect:Work in a dynamic, culturally diverse team from around the globeSeasonal work experience in iconic, unforgettable, and inspiring locationsFast-paced and active position – get your step counter ready!The chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friendsOpportunities for career growth or future work at other Pursuit locationsAccess to one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic National ParksWhat will you do in this job:This role directly supports the food and beverage Manager in meeting and delivering upon our core values, standard operating procedures and business targets.To provide support, training and or coaching to ensure the front of house team delivers an interactive, knowledgeable and professional food and beverage experienceActively participating in the daily food and beverage operation including coordination of scheduling, recognition and performance management duties – all with best office view you could ask for!Ensure a memorable and positive experience for our guests and staff through implementing and delivering upon the standard operating policies and procedures as they relate to the food and beverage operations, safety and employee engagement.A passion for coaching and developing employees with a proven track record of “safety 1st practicesEnsuring accurate cash, debit and credit card transactionsPreparation and verification of daily cash reportsAct as the direct line of support in handling any service -related issues, actively listening to guest concerns/issues and finding effective resolution.Coordinate staff break and lunches as requiredUphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employeesCoordinate food and beverage orders and inventory with the Food and Beverage ManagerInteracting with customers to attain feedback as to their experiences following up on any issues and passing on any bigger issues requiring further action to managementEnsure the restaurant area is clean and organized at all timesOther duties as assigned by the food and beverage ManagerWhat skills and experience do you need for this job:1 year of F&B Supervisor experienceSecond language an assetNatural ability to lead a teamDetail oriented with good communication skillsStrong hospitality/service skillsMicrosoft office proficientPOS system experienceCash handling experienceHigh volume experienceHandle stress in a professional mannerEnjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environmentExperience with cash out proceduresExperience in similar leadership role an assetComfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environmentBe prepared for all weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hail)Must meet the organization grooming and appearance standardsTo honor our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record checkWhat will your work environment be like:Beautiful.
