As our growth creates new career opportunities, likely there is the right one for you!Golden Concrete, part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, are seeking a skilled, reliable general laborer to join our company. This position is based in Golden, BC. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting crew & operating heavy machinery, and following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. General laborers work at building, highway, and heavy construction sites. There is no minimal educational requirement to be a general laborer, but specialized training can help laborers advance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow project instructions from your supervisor or manager.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment. Safely operate a variety of tools & equipment upon competency.
  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels.
  • Must have a positive attitude and work ethic. Able to work independently or as an active member of a team, good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work in all weather
Qualifications
  • Key skills – physical strength, hand – eye coordination, and endurance; concentration, computer, estimating, and communication skills: ability to use necessary tools and machines.
  • May require high school diploma or equivalent.
  • On the job training typically provided: specialized training can increase job opportunities
