Job Description

PRODUCTION MANAGER POSITION - WHITETOOTH BREWING*Whitetooth Brewing is growing and we are looking to add a key individual to our small production team. We are looking for a Production Manager who can brew, or an assistant brewer who can take on production scheduling duties, to complement our Head Brewer’s role. Our goal is to have job interchangeability in the production process so that we maintain flexibility and achieve overall job satisfaction.**Whitetooth Brewing values work-life balance, community, harmonious team dynamics and the art and science of brewing well-executed good beer.**We brew on a 18hL, steam, 4 vessel (MM, LT, BK, WP) NSI brewhouse and currently package using a Cask mACS canning line and a GAI 6-6-1 bottling line. We focus on brewing Belgian-inspired and West-coast influenced beer styles.**DUTIES:**

  • Scheduling and coordinating our brewing & packaging cycle in sync with our sales, logistics and distribution team
  • Supply chain forecasting and ensuring a timely inventory of raw materials and packaging materials exists for operations
  • Milling grain and brew-day preparations; brewing
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kegs and tanks; cellar operations
  • Packaging: kegging, canning and bottling beer
  • Cleaning and maintaining the facility
**REQUIREMENTS:**The ideal candidate should have several years of previous commercial brewing experience. You must also have a passion for beer culture as demonstrated by a combination of one or more of the following:**
  • Completion of accredited brewery school program
  • Beer education such as BJCP certification, Cicerone, etc.
  • Home brewing background
**PREFERRED:**
  • Project management experience
  • Drivers licence
  • Forklift certification

  • Hands-on & self-starter
  • Process oriented, well organized & respect for Standard Operating Procedures
  • Physically fit (ability to handle full kegs and grain bags, and long brew days)

  • Mechanical aptitude & problem solving mindset
**This is a full time position with a 40hr work week, with occasional weekend shifts. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.**GOLDEN:**Golden BC, population 3800, is our home base. Golden is located on the Trans-Canada Highway in the Columbia Valley between the Rocky Mountains and Purcell Range, surrounded by five national and numerous provincial parks.
