Job Description

Compensation:

  • Wage is $18 per hour
  • Additional $1.50 per hour retention bonus, paid at end of season

What will you do in this job:
  • Drive service truck and/or side-by-side ATV to transport material, supplies and employees
  • Assist Adventure Guides by performing duties related to harnessing guests, equipment briefing, equipment checks
  • Upkeep and cleaning of work zone to ensure all areas meet expectations for cleanliness
  • Load and unload material and supplies. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Demonstrate effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to deliver projects
  • Provide feedback to the Operations Manager regarding mechanical or equipment problems
  • Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with H&S and our Always Honest Policy
What skills and experience do you need for this job:
  • Class 5 License. Able to provide a clean drivers abstract.
  • Strong physical stamina and conditioning. Physical demands of the position include: working outdoors in all weather conditions, repetitive actions and speaking, sitting/standing for extended periods of time, frequent bending/twisting, and ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer focus providing friendly, professional, and efficient service
  • Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrate high levels of positive energy and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Strong communication and listening skills with local and international guests and staff, second language skills highly advantageous
  • First Aid Training an asset
