We are seeking a strong communicator to join us as a Maintenance Planner Scheduler in our Grand Falls, NB location! The successful candidate is responsible to ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all plant equipment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Scope work as needed based on generated notifications and orders
  • Order necessary parts and equipment
  • Validate that parts received are adequate
  • Schedule jobs for line mechanics, lubrication technician and condition inspector
  • Populate and maintain shutdown Gantt Charts
  • Report on cost and backlog
    • Daily Tasks:
  • Review outstanding notifications and create orders in SAP
  • Scope out each job and requisition material needed for work
  • Contact manufacturers on equipment and material inquiries
  • Contact outside contractors if needed
  • Prioritize the work orders when dispatching (scheduling)
  • Review MDI defect logger, report daily counts to Supervisor and assign work orders
    • Weekly Tasks:
  • Schedule work for next week
  • Maintain sanitation day and extended shutdown Gantt chart
  • Attend meetings (Backlog/Cost, Gantt Chart review, …)
3. Non- Regular Work:
  • Attend trainings and safety talks
  • Give safety talks
  • Support Project Manager in sourcing equipment for Capital projects
  • May need to help supervise jobs during shutdowns
  • Maintain equipment data, bill of materials, PMs and create material master requests to get parts added to SAP
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Electrician or Industrial Mechanic.
  • Bilingual in French and English is strongly preferred.
