Job Description

Service Technician – Marathon GoldWe are currently searching for a driven and ambitious Interprovincial Red Seal licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic who wants to take their career to the next level.This position is located at the Valentin Gold Project site, located in the central region of Newfoundland and Labrador working on a 2 week in/2 week out rotation.For more information on the responsibilities and duties of this role please refer to the below: Technicians Duties :

    • Perform Shop and field repairs on Surface equipment as required.
    • Main duties will be to maintain and support all Epiroc equipment.
    • Machine audits as required etc.
    • Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with machine operators and customer representatives.
    • Daily time entry/Daily utilization report.
    • Daily shift and all other required reports.
    • Other duties as assigned and required to maintain the contract
    • Must follow Marathon Gold and Epiroc health and safety policies
Schedule and Start Date:
    • Drive in/Drive out camp positions working a rotation schedule
    • Schedule will vary depending on site requirements
Prerequisite, Skills and Experience:
    • Interprovincial Red seal Heavy Duty Mechanic.
    • 2-3 years of experience.
    • Great communication and problem solving skills.
    • Proven and motivated self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision but can take direction.
    • Strong team player.
    • A valid driver license and a driver’s abstract
    • Driven to obtain 100% customer satisfaction.
