Job Description

Job descriptionAs a Scott Safety Supply Service Inc. Scott Technician, you will be accountable for the day to day coordination of the Scott Room. You will ensure that highest level of professionalism and performance at all times.Main Responsibilities:

  • Turnover air trailers, packs and monitors
  • Ensure that all equipment, packs, air trailers and monitors are ready for work within a reasonable time-frame.
  • Assign equipment and track returned equipment
  • Routine inspection and maintenance of all breathing air regulators
  • Confirm that all equipment is tracked and accounted for
  • Certify that all TDG documents are properly filled out and filed when returned
  • Ensure that all calibrations and repairs are documented
  • Ensure all paperwork is sorted and filed
  • Keep track of all equipment and parts inventory
  • Workplace is kept organized and cleaned at all times
  • Communicate on a daily basis of the state of equipment to the Operations Coordinators and General Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Gas Monitor Certification (BW, GasClip, Draeger, Rae etc.)
  • CSO – Common Safety Orientation (Energy Safety Canada)
  • Enform H2S Alive
  • Stand First Aid Level C
  • Valid Class 5 Driver License
