This is not a camp position and candidates must currently reside in or close to Grande Prairie.What you Will Do:

  • Ensuring operations are carried out in a safe/compliant/cost effective and environmentally responsible manner
  • Operating of inlet separation, compression, dehydration, condensate stabilization, condensate & water storage, associated pumps, and power generation equipment
  • Optimizing well production and maximizing run time within the field
  • Ensuring NuVista maintains regulatory compliance including but not limited to pigging, testing, pipeline chemical inhibition, odours, facility inspections and reporting
  • Contributing to the team achievement of meeting business, environmental, health and safety targets
  • Working towards completing and implementing site specific procedures for area of responsibility
What We are Looking for in a Successful Candidate:To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate is a motivated and enthusiastic team player with 5+ years of sour operating experience directly in the area of field and gas processing.In addition, you will demonstrate:
  • The ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with computers is required
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • A valid class 5 drivers license
  • A technical diploma or power engineering certificate is an asset
  • Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada
  • As this is a safety sensitive position, the successful candidate is subject to the relevant pre-assignment testing
