The Crown and Anchor Pub, Grande Prairies favorite neighborhood pub, is now seeking to fill full-time and part-time doorman/security positions.Job requirements:- Must be eager to learn and develop new skills as part of a security team- Professional and positive attitude towards customers and fellow staff- Ability to remain calm and in control in high stress and potentially violent situations- Be able to function effectively as a host and an enforcer of bar and AGLC rules and policies- Be able to gauge and prepare for potential issues or precursors to violence within the bar- Ensure the general safety of yourself, your co-workers and our customers- Must have, or be in the process of attaining, a valid Protect Security License- Must be able to work weekends, nights, holidays and special events- Previous security experience is an asset but not required, as we will conduct on the job training regardless- Must have the ability to occasionally engage in violent situations (breaking up fights, removing violent customers) and maintain control of yourself and emotionsWhat we offer:- Competitive wage (18$/h)- Staff drink and food perks- Semi-flexible hours- On the job trainingIf interested please drop off a resume in person or email one.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $15.00-$18.00 per hourAdditional pay:
