Job Description

FOOD COUNTER ATTENDANT / CASHIER****Job Responsibilities:

  • Take customers orders
  • Enter orders in Point of Sale and take payments from customers
  • Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
  • Use cooking equipment to prepare fast food items including wraps, burritos, salads, milkshakes, and other beverages
  • Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Wash worktables, cupboards, and appliances
  • Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
  • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
  • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
  • Assist with ordering, scheduling, and inventory management
Employment requirements
  • Secondary school diploma
  • Prior experience in health and nutrition-focused fast food restaurant is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance and be able to assist with managerial duties.
  • Prior working experience with Freshii would be an asset.

  • 8 hour shift
