Job descriptionReporting to the President, the Housing Consultant is a professional, well-organized, detail-oriented and dynamic individual. This non-supervisory position will be responsible for cultivating leads that can lead to future sales. This position’s regular work week will consist of working 3 Saturdays per month, Sundays off and one other day off during each week.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.- Adjust content and stay on top of best practice sales techniques and processes.- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers and learning how they buy.- Submit, process and review orders following proper procedures.- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual reports by target.- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive development and our advantages.- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks, and other business development opportunities.- Maintain records on customer sales.- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing targets as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS- Previous sales experience- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relation Management Systems- Professionalism- Great organization skills- Comfortable dealing with internal and external customersBENEFIT PLANWe are proud to offer our employees a highly competitive salary package, full benefits and incentive programs and a commitment to positive work/life balance.HOW WE’RE DIFFERENTJandel Homes is one of western Canadas largest modular home retailers, with an award-winning, proven track record.
