Job Description

Overview:Overview:CDN Controls Ltd. is a fully integrated provider of instrumentation, electrical, automation, communication, combustion and emissions, and meter proving services throughout Western Canada. Our growing company is currently looking to hire a Parts Runner to join our Grande Prairie officePosition Summary:The Parts Runner is responsible to complete the daily parts and material pickups for the Purchasing department and other departments as required. Also, ensuring the shop is in a clean safe and operating manner.Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, tools in a time efficient manner with proper communication back to the warehouse
  • Communicate with vendors in regards to the pickup and delivery of parts as required
  • General shop maintenance and cleaning.
  • Physically receiving material and putting into applicable location as directed by the warehouse staff
  • Assist with the set-up and take-down of monthly safety meetings.
  • Completing regular shop, forklift and truck inspections as required
  • Participation in the Valleyview run schedule as required
  • Any other projects or assignments as required
Qualifications:Qualifications required:
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license
  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Fork Lift Ticket
