Job Description

Wapiti Gravel Suppliers, a division of NPA Ltd. is looking for an experienced Traffic Control Person for our 2022 Construction Season. We are looking for an individual that has experience in paving and is looking to further their career development.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with site Supervisor for traffic control plan
  • Ensure proper signage is in place on job site before work begins
  • Check worksite daily for any signage adjustments or fixes
  • Assist with other labour related duties on worksite through the day as needed
  • Knowledge of paving equipment and the paving process
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • High school graduation or G.E.D. preferred
  • More than 1 year experience in a related industry as a Traffic Control Person/Safety Representative
  • Class 5 drivers license
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must comply with the company’s drug, alcohol, and fitness testing.
  • Willing to work out of town and in remote locations, as required.
  • Willing to work overtime, as required.
