Job Description

MatrixHR is currently recruiting General Labour workers for a work site located in Nanaimo, BC. We are looking for hard-working and reliable candidates willing to accept positions temporary in nature. This project is estimated to last 5 days. Pay Rate: $30/hr ($3/hr night shift premium). LOA: $150/ per day.Travel Offered. Examples of General Labour Assignments:

  • Site cleanup.
  • Loading and Unloading Material.
  • Assisting various trades on-site.
  • Cleaning.
Candidates will need:
  • Own PPE (steel-toed boots, safety vest, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves).
  • Past construction experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Own vehicle (is an asset due to assignments that start earlier than transit allows or end late at night).
  • MUST Be able to pass government security clearance!
Qualifications:
  • Hard-working.
  • Reliable.
  • Team Player.
  • Able to take directions.
