Job Description

tentree is a lifestyle apparel company based out of Vancouver, Canada that plants ten trees for every item purchased. By combining social and environmental consciousness with apparel, we empower our customers to have a direct impact on saving the planet through intentional purchasing.Who are we looking for As a Graphic Designer at tentree, you will be a central contributor in bringing sustainable and environmental stories to life through innovative design. Working closely with the Creative, Content and Marketing teams, you will champion tentree #39;s brand guidelines and produce creative assets for a variety of mediums to ensure tentree presents consistently engaging storytelling. What will you be doing

  • You will design tentree’s seasonal assets for multiple campaigns across all marketing channels and consumer touchpoints.
  • You will design a variety of digital assets and contribute to the development of web assets, banners, email newsletters, and ecommerce deliverables.
  • You will develop, visualize and present decks and concepts supporting the brand campaigns and impact initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • You will champion brand consistency across multiple marketing channels.
  • You will design, prototype and develop brand product packaging.
  • You will design engaging point of purchase, tradeshow, packaging and other print marketing assets.
  • You will prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
  • You will make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
  • You will provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation.
  • You will package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.
  • You will deliver to tight deadlines and fast paced projects, following a timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time.
  • Collaborate with members of the Creative, Content and Marketing teams to support ongoing projects and campaigns as required and assigned.
RequirementsProfessional Requirements
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Ai, Ps, Id)
  • Proficient in Figma or adobe XD
  • General understanding of UX/UI design, usability, design systems, software development and how these factors inform your designs
  • Understand digital file optimization and digital design best practices
  • Use basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to assemble newsletters
  • Experience in the apparel industry in a Design capacity considered an asset
  • Video and photo editing abilities considered an asset
  • Motion design abilities considered an asset

A typical hiring range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 CAD per year with the final salary offer based on your qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
