Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and resolution to level 2 application issues raised by users. This will be predominantly, but not limited to, company Enterprise Resources Planning system issues.
  • Work with members of the business to gather functional requirements and translate those requirements into documented functional specifications
  • Understand and communicate functional specifications to developers
  • Conduct detailed testing of business solutions
  • Develop enterprise application documentation
  • Provide enterprise application training to business users
  • Assist in IT roadmap planning, particularly for the organization’s ERP and associated applications
  • Work with the business to promote and advance continuous process improvement
Experienceamp; Skill Set:
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience configuring and/or implementing ERP systems (preferably Oracle JD Edwards)
  • Experience and/or knowledge of relational databases
  • Experience in programming, data management, disaster recovery, and business continuity technologies an asset
  • 5 or more years of experience in information technology
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design, approach, and methodology
  • Excellent problem determination, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • General knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with BI (Business Intelligence) solutions an asset
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral, with excellent communication skills
