ProjectThe Woodfibre LNG (WLNG) Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.Woodfibre Management Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited.PositionThe Procurement Specialist is an integral part of WLNG dynamic team. You will have direct responsibility for procurement and contracting support for the WLNG Vancouver Office, Regulatory, HSSE and Operations groups. You will be conducting full life-cycle procurement and contracting activities, from planning and strategy through to award and ongoing maintenance and renewals for both materials and services. You will further be a key liaison for supporting various indigenous engagement programs and an ambassador for the company to the local supply community. The successful candidate reports directly to the Head of Procurementamp; Supply Chain and will be located at the WLNG Vancouver Office, British Columbia.Key Responsibilities:The successful applicant will:

• Lead all procurement and contracting activities in support of WLNG needs - Understand internal needs, external market, develop go-to market recommendations and execute commitments using established procedures and standard documents/forms.
• Analyze suitability of potential suppliers in accordance with Company vendor qualification criteria.Maintain records of approved, current, and potential suppliers by commodity or service.
• Develop and lead formal Requests for Proposals for long-term commitments and sizable purchases. Performs pre-bid and pre-award meetings.Analyzes suitability of bids dependent on time constraints, cost, and quality assurance.Prepares bid evaluations, lead and finalize negotiations with suppliers, and seeks appropriate approvals of awards.
• Manage the end to end process of key Procurement Documents such as NDAamp; Contracts from signing, filing, renewing, and reporting.
• Develop, monitor and report procurement activities and KPIs.
• Supplier Performance Management - On-going support of contract management plans and the coordination of managing key performance indicators.
• Support and manage the implementation of SAP and other Procurement systems, and processes.
• External Stakeholder Engagement – Lead interactions and manage deliverables with key external stakeholders related to procurementamp; contract planning and activities.

RequirementsRequired Experience:

• +5 years of Procurementamp; Supply Chain related experience, or working knowledge of procurementamp; contracts systems.
• Knowledge of Canadian marketplace especially British Columbia labor market, business practice and local communities is desirable.
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Accountingamp; Finance or professional certification is desirable.
• Previous exposure to oil and gas industry projects/operations is an asset.

• This role will be a combination of office and site based.
• The position is based in Vancouver, BC with visit to the Company’s other Office as required.
