Job Description

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Programmer Analyst to join their team on a permanent, direct-hire basis.Summary of the RoleThe Programmer Analyst will join a high-visibility team focused on automation solutions, supporting the organization #39;s transition into robotic process automation (RPA) and AI. The role requires expertise in Java development, automation tools, and API integration, with the flexibility to operate in an environment with evolving project types.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy software solutions across all stages of the SDLC.
  • Analyze, write, test, and troubleshoot code, ensuring continuous improvements.
  • Create front-end solutions and design functional databases and back-end services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design RESTful APIs and develop visually appealing interfaces.
  • Document technical processes, focusing on non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, and reliability.
Core Requirements:
  • Intermediate experience in Java development, with knowledge of automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
  • Proven ability to develop medium-to-large software applications, with experience in API development.
  • Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development, data modeling, and integration methods.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and technologies, such as JMS, ActiveMQ, and RESTful services.
  • Interest in GenAI and capacity to work in a dynamic environment.
Desired Skillsamp; Experience:
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) is an asset.
  • Understanding of both functional and technical aspects of RPA.
TermsThis is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, requiring onsite presence once weekly. The interview process includes two rounds, with reference checks prior to a final offer.
