Job Description

Our dynamic environment, filled with high-achieving professionals, enables our staff to take on incredible opportunities, gain mentorship from a diverse group of colleagues, and succeed in their careers.Supporting Project Managers on site, the project administrator works collaboratively with other teams, in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. To be successful, the candidate needs to have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and detailed oriented. Independent work will be required. Work schedule: 9-hour days, M-F one week then M-Th the next week (9 work days over 2 weeks).Remote position, with 1 week per month on site. To start, 2 weeks on site to get familiar. Duties and Responsibilities:-File documents, and conduct employee onboarding, orientation and paperwork.-Assist with organizing on-site events such as lunch and learns.-Take meeting minutes, draft memos/presentations, and distribute them as necessary.-Aid with the development and maintenance of project management documents.-Work with capital team and suppliers on quotes, project costs, delivery and forecasted spending.-Support Project Managers with the procurement of materials, supplies and services as necessary .-Assist Project Managers with their schedule, and coordinate team meetings and schedules. -Organize and prepare for internal and external meetings; gathering materials required.-Utilize Excel for a variety of project tracking and documentation.-Support month-end procedures.We appreciate all applicants #39; interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.   • Previous project experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction industries.
  • Relevant diploma or degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite of programs, including SharePoint.
  • Familiar with IBM Maximo or SAP
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Are you currently eligible to work in Canada (For example permanent resident, valid work permit, etc).
