Job Description

6-month contract QA Analyst role with an enterprise organization investing heavily in new systems.

  • Hybrid work, 3 days a week in office in Vancouver
Whatamp; Why: Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Manual QA Analyst to join our enterprise client.This program specifically works on upstream supply chain solutions, so systems that handle raw materials, before they become finished goods. We are looking for a senior manual QA tester keen on picking up business process context and acting as a gatekeeper to quality of the software delivery.You will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the quality and usability of our internal products. The QA Analyst works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code. This is a great time to join this team as they look to scale and grow in 2024.Who:This client is one of the most recognizable Canadian brands, a true Vancouver success story who has expanded globally. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 3 days a week in office.You:You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
  • 4+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Tester/Analyst or similar role
  • Experience in QA techniques and methodologies
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools
  • Working knowledge of test management software (TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Jira experience, experience with SQL, API testing (HTTP request, REST, SOAP) and Postman
  • Java test automation experience would be a nice to have
  • Demonstrated expertise in black, white box and grey box testing methodologies would be considered an asset
