What you will be doing
  • Ensure the overall safety and security of the guests, employees and property premises
  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
  • Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy is investigated and reported
  • Respond to all emergency situations, and provide First Aid and CPR as required
  • Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
  • Investigate and report any violations to law/property policy, occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations
  • Maintain computer records of all actions in Daily Activity Reports
  • Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Conduct regular audits with regards to access control and safety measures
  • Follow all department and Hotel policies (procedural, service, and safety)
  • Wil lbe required to work shifts of all hours; including overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Other duties as assigned
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
