POSITION: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (CONSTRUCTION) - PHSA JOB TYPE: PermanentWORKING HOURS: TBDSTART DATE: ASAPLOCATION: VancouverResponsibilitiesManaging facilities construction projects using PHSA’s PM methodologies to implement projects Dealing with planning, initiation, and completion of construction Corresponding effectively with various stakeholders such as PHSA leadership, project co-leaders, and vendors, concerning the project status, ongoing issues, and other updates Overseeing the development of project business plans through the preparation of feasibility studies, analysis, and solution development Implementing training and oversight to other project leaders in the delivery of projects Obtaining and managing consultants, contractors, or vendors by PHSA’s procurement policies Handling project documentation submissions, deficiency resolution, warranty reviews, and financial reconciliationRequirementsA professional project management designation (PMP) is required Must have a professional/master’s education in Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field7 years in facilities/capital project design, planning and management Must have a valid BC driver’s license and a reliable vehicleExperience delivering projects in 24/7 occupied buildings.
