The Challenge:We transform complex business problems into human centred solutions for early stage startups, enterprise ventures, and corporate partners.You thrive on this stuff!As part of our tight-knit team you’ll play an integral role in creating experiences that don’t just engage the end user, but completely blow them away.What you’ll do:Over the first 6 months you will:Bring your agency experience and expertise to support a number of initiatives for a client in the financial services industry including:Contribute to the UX research and UX/UI design of our client #39;s trading app, aiming to become a lead in this space:Support the usability testing of a cross-platform mobile app, initially targeting users in the United Arab EmiratesCreate wireframes and mockups showing robust, intuitive design for new and existing featuresJoin forces with our Creative Lead to implement best-practice UI, bringing their vision to lifeCurate and maintain a robust design system of reusable styles and UI componentsCollaborate with members of other teams (Creative, Content etc) to identify areas of opportunity and ideate creative solutionsWork closely with the client’s development team (based in Europe) to ensure a balance between ideal design and feasible implementationHelp the Product Manager to plan the roadmap for subsequent releases of the mobile app, along with a phased global rollout:Ensure app features are being validated with customers and prioritised into a product backlog, taking business objectives and technical feasibility into accountInvestigate what localisation measures need to be put in place in each new marketTake responsibility for the quality of work produced by the product team in Vancouver:Provide feedback on work produced by the wider product team, including designers and researchersWrite briefs for new design tasks, and brief these in to the teamSense-check designs and outputs before they are delivered to development teams or clientsSupport the professional development of the team with your insight and experienceBring your agency experience and organisation skills to the table, playing a key role in the growth of our North American office:Assist with proposals for new briefs and new clientsFoster connection between the product team and other DIJGTAL teams, including our teams in AustraliaCritique current workflows, and establish a scalable approachEnsure the right people are working on new projects as they kick off, and that they have appropriate level of supportOngoing:Ensure the successful delivery of mobile and web UX/UI design projects for this client and othersImplement user research that keeps us grounded and ensures we’re designing products that add real valueValidate early stage product / business ideas, design concepts and identify opportunitiesBecome a leading figure and mentor for other UX/UI designersWear your productivity hat and evolve our UX processes to be more efficient and effectivePackage your research up into actionable insights through reports, personas, and any other deliverable format that might be requiredBuddy up and share your UX design superpowers with the team (Hey, Friend!)Come together with our wider team of Creatives, UX, Tech, Product and Marketing and collaborate; ideas grow and we grow!What you want:To share your Product Design folio that showcases your process and projects.
