Must-haves - 6-8 years hands on experience with Salesforce Platform for system administration and development- Demonstrated experience with configurations, creating custom data models, custom fields, roles, hierarchy, and flows - Ability to write within APEX, classes, triggers, declarative development for flows, reading and writing code, and Lightning web components- Service Cloud and Sales Cloud experience (heavier Service Cloud environment)- STRONG communication to work across technical and non-technical business units for requirement gathering and execution - Must be okay with doing admin configuration work as well as development work- Must have the ability to step into the team and support current workload - Must be able to mentor team members and not be afraid to share knowledge- Must be onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays Plusses - Field Service Lightning Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Communities or Experience Cloud, Lightning, or Marketing Cloud - Salesforce Certifications - Salesforce Development - Agile Methodology Day-to-Day Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Systems Administrator/Developer to support our client in Vancouver, BC. This opportunity is following a hybrid , in-office model on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are looking for an individual who can help support Salesforce in a platform administration and development capacity. Responsibilities include overall system support including monitoring backlog, production, and system maintenance and upgrades. They will also be hands on with technical customizations, analysis of business and technical requirements, and process mapping. The candidate will also be collaborating with various business units - both technical and non-technical - to fulfill business needs and priorities. Additional Responsibilities include: - Coordinating and performing regular system upgrades regarding Salesforce - Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements - Uses knowledge and expertise of Salesforce to ensure complete platform utilization - Performs configuration updates - Ensure system control process as well as maintenance - Works with any necessary external vendors - Mentoring additional team members- Ensuring project deadlines and targets are hit
