You can take complex cross-functional projects and break them down into manageable phases, coordinating handoffs and milestones, and then work with the team to deliver them in a successful and timely manner.   • Coordinate and ensure smooth coordination between contract manufacturers, our Supply Chain team, and our IoT team through the quoting, pre-production, production, testing, and shipping stages.
  • Respond to demand changes from Demand Planner and communicate scheduling needs to Contract Manufacturers (CM #39;s).
  • Assist in the coordination and problem solving of production delays and supply chain issues.
  • Support buyers in investigating and remedying component shortages for production.
  • Recognize problems and discrepancies in processes and communication and proactively initiate corrective actions.
  • Input Production Orders and Assembly Orders into Microsoft Dynamics D365 ERP system.
  • Maintain seasonal build plan by coordinating with various teams and contract manufacturers.
  • Serve as the primary contact between Supply Chain and Product teams.
  • Willingness to tackle additional tasks and responsibilities as needed, demonstrating agility and resourcefulness in handling unforeseen challenges or opportunities that may arise.
Project Responsibilities:
  • Work with Manufacturing, Product Functions, and other various departments to support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Assist IoT Engineering team in qualifying new CM’s from a Supply Chain perspective.
  • Represent the Supply Chain team in cross functional projects and coordinate with Supply Chain team members as needed:
  • Provide weekly project updates and escalate issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
RequirementsWe want you to succeed so you will need:
  • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing or tangible-goods development environment
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and how they integrate into large projects.
  • Ability to work independently with high degree of initiative
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple short and long-term projects at one time, and selecting the appropriate management framework (agile, waterfall etc) for the project
  • Proficient in working in a matrix environment, with direct and indirect contributors
  • Comfortable working with technical and business teams, internally with our development teams and externally with our technical or manufacturing partners
  • Strong presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with teams performing new product development while simultaneously supporting existing products
  • Excellent knowledge of project management and issue management tools
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Intermediate skill level in Excel/Google Sheets
Nice to have:
  • PMP certification
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Electronics background and/or chemical manufacturing experience
