As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you #39;ll have the opportunity to learn from our experts about what it takes to design, model, and draft HVAC and building plumbing systems. You #39;ll also gain hands-on experience working on a variety of project types, including mixed-use buildings, tenant improvement renovations, and equipment replacement projects.Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, modelling and drafting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, building plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and HVAC control systems, using the latest versions of Revit and AutoCAD
  • Assist with design calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
  • Assist with implementing redline markups from engineers
  • Assist in report writing and budget costing
  • Assist with coordination with electrical engineering staff
  • Participate in occasional site visits to survey existing conditions, and to document ongoing construction
