Intent of the processThe intent of this process is to fill current and future vacancies in various locations with various employment tenures and language profiles within the Department of National Defence.Positions to be filled: Number to be determinedInformation you must provideYour résumé.In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)EDUCATION:Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program approved or recognized by the provincial/territorial regulatory authority with a specialty certificate in either Nurse Practitioner - Adult (NP-Adult) or Nurse Practitioner - Primary Health Care (NP-PHC).Degree equivalencyOCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATIONEligibility for registration as a Nurse Practitioner (NP, RN(EC), RN(NP), or RN(EP)) in a province or territory of Canada, and no current license suspensions/restrictions with any professional regulatory organizations.EXPERIENCEE1 - Significant* and recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a community or clinical settingE2 - Experience in ambulatory care, acute care or community health careE3 - Experience in adult education and health promotionE4 - Experience in accessing professional literature to provide current, evidence based care

• Significant is defined as at least seventeen-hundred (1,700) hours of experience in a broad range of related activities. 1,700 hours is equivalent to one-year of full-time work.
