Due to unprecedented growth, they are adding a Cost Accountant to the team. NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS 100% ONSITE.The RoleThe Cost Accountant reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for costing and some general accounting duties. As the Cost Accountant, you will be an important member of the team, responsible for product costing and providing support for day-to-day accounting and month end close.What do you bring to the roleYou have 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. You have gained strong costing experience and enjoy collaboration with departments across the organization. You are a go-getter who does not hesitate to pick up the phone in order to investigate strange and unusual variances. You are eager to learn and enjoy going into the production facility to learn the business and understand how the company’s products are made. You possess strong data management skills and are comfortable manipulating large amounts of data as the company produces hundreds of different SKU’s. The ideal candidate is working towards their CPA designation. However, undesignated energetic go-getters with strong accounting and costing knowledge will be considered. What’s in it for You
