Job Description

If you #39;re interested in handling matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), this reputable business might have the Accounting Administrator role for you. This permanent role is for an Accounting Administrator in the Guelph, Ontario, area. Responsibilities: - Input all payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments. - Process customer payments, issue credits, and monitor overdue receivables. - Maintain control files for US and Canadian accounts. - Prepare monthly forecasting reports and finance reports. - Conduct balance sheet analysis and cost accounting. - Assist in developing controls and processes, and prepare schedules for external auditors. - Complete monthly transactions to Trial Balance and provide audit documents to third-party auditors. - Manage HR database including attendance, training, and demographics. - Generate biweekly timesheets and punch cards. - Prepare documentation for new hires and conduct orientations. - Coordinate interviews and conduct reference checks. - Administer safety programs and facilitate safety meetings. Educationamp; Skills Requirements: - Completion of a 2-year college program or equivalent experience. - Proficiency in planning, organizing, and coordinating various tasks. - Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and terminology. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Accurate with numbers and proficient in computer literacy. - Experience working with external third-party auditors considered an asset.
