Job Description

Ready to GrowWe are a growing millwright contracting company looking to add an additional project manager to our team! As one of the largest industrial services and millwrighting contractors in the province, we love taking on complex work for our customers, and we are always looking for talented people who work hard, love solving problems, and want to have a great career with us.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage current customers’ maintenance and project needs while also anticipating future requirements
  • Develop and manage new customer relationships for the company
  • Prepare estimates, budgets, quotations, and cost projections for jobs
  • Manage projects and prepare progress schedules
  • Preparation of job tool lists, including fabricated items, site lifting equipment, and coordination of subcontractors to complete projects
  • Attend job walks and meet with customers/maintenance teams to ensure effective project launches
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Respond to all customer inquiries and requests including breakdowns and manpower support
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical project management role in a multi-trade environment (i.e. millwrighting, fabrication, equipment moving, pipe fitting)
  • Ideal candidate is a licensed millwright, although not a requirement
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean record
  • Willing to travel across Southern Ontario
  • Open to learning new software and mobile applications
  • Competent with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience using CRM tools
