Job Description

We are growing! We are looking for a passionate, driven, and energetic candidate to join our team for the position of Senior Financial Writer, located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Writer who will craft and manage high-quality financial content that effectively communicates complex financial information to both internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Financial Writer will develop comprehensive reports, detailed financial analyses, and engaging content for various channels, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our brand voice. The Senior Financial Writer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights, produce compelling narratives, and support strategic initiatives, while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities. What you will be doing:

  • Create, edit, and manage high-quality financial content, including reports, analyses, and articles, tailored to both internal and external audiences.
  • Be proficient in communicating complex financial details while engaging with key stakeholders. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in plain language to stakeholders to attract high net-worth clients.
  • Develop and deliver high quality materials to various high net-worth stakeholders. White papers included.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support content creation, including interpreting financial statements, market trends, and performance metrics.
  • Work with the Vice President of Marketingamp; Communications to develop and implement new growth strategies and strategic goals while taking ownership of the execution of results and making revisions where required.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
What we look for:
  • Secondary education in Finance, Marketing/Advertising, Business, or another related field with a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience.
  • Is a strong visual communicator with an understanding of how to present information to various audiences and work within an established brand.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, research and analytical skills including strong grammatical skills.
  • Excellent customer service, administration and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to be open-minded, creative and imaginative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
