Ref ID: 05210-0012428016Classification: Sr. AccountantCompensation: $75000.00 to $80000.00 yearlyYou will use your knowledge and skills to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. To be successful, candidates need to be highly adept at analytics and working in challenging, fast-paced environments. In addition to excellent compensation and benefits, the company offers the opporunity to advance.Major responsibilities- Produce monthly consolidated P amp; L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests- Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Partake in various department-wide initiatives- Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP- Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditorsJob Requirements:- 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience- Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Able to manage time well- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills- Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred- Knowledge of financial reporting- Financial analysis experience preferred- Reconciliations experience desired- Strong familiarity with general ledger- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges- Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment- Current and relevant ERP system experience- Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX complianceRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
