Job Description

Job DescriptionReporting to the Associate Director, the purpose of this job is to effectively manage accounts payable and receivable processes, prepare reconciliations and aging reports to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting. As a part of a global team, you will:

  • Maintain complete sets of books, prepare journals and post entries, keep records of accounts payable and verify the procedures used for recording financial transactions..
  • Reconcile bank accounts, assists in preparation of working papers, review vendor balances and underlying balance sheet accounts to support the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements.
  • Preparation of payments and the verification of supporting documentation, ensuring proper approvals.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable such as utilities, government related taxes and fees, employees’ credit cards and expense claims.
  • Assist with the provision of supporting documentation to enable tax specialists to prepare tax returns.
  • Other responsibilities include but not limited to;
    • Responsible for liaising with Vendors and Internal Clients for queries.
    • Preparation and maintenance of process documentation.
    • Diligently follow internal control procedures and maintain audit trail with supporting documentation.
    • Assist with requests relating to internal and external audits queries.
    • Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above.
    • Support in managing central mailbox within team.
