Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking skilled and experienced Power Distribution Technologist to join a dynamic team that is rapidly expanding, come innovate with us! This position is be based out of our Halifax, NS office and offers you an enriching professional environment allowing you to unlock your potential. Join a team that’s shaping the electrical grid of the future. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of Electrical Power Distribution networks. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices.Primary Responsibilities Overhead or underground distribution network design: 

  • Perform site visits to determine the nature of the work required. 
  • Collect/research data from geographic information system (GIS). 
  • Design technical specifications and prepare construction drawings.
  • Prepare job estimates, bills of materialamp; labour for customer requests. 
  • Circulate proposed plans for review and permit approvals.
  • Coordinate schedules and deadlines, monitor and update progress. 
  • Liaise with customers to determine needs and negotiate issues to resolution. 
  • Liaise with developers and municipal officials as required. 
  • Respond to and/or resolve customer complaints. 
  • Ensure completed work adheres to engineering and construction standards.
  • Prepare as-built construction drawings
