The Service Engineers work with the Platform Change teams, Mortgage, Business Units and the wider Retail Group Transformation teams. A passion for improving Service is crucial with an aim to#39;get things done #39; being important.Within the Homes Platform we #39;re on a journey to transform our core technology and the technical capabilities of our colleagues. Over the last 2 years we have launched new digital journeys on modern JavaScript frameworks, developed detailed suites of customer journey and analytics, transitioned workloads onto the Cloud and incrementally modernised and simplified our technology estate, whilst embedding DevOps and Agile working practices to enable feature teams to autonomously deploy changes to production themselves.Lloyds Banking Group is the largest provider of Mortgages in the UK, with over 2 million active Mortgages.   • Support Service Performance, Transformation, Engineering with specific focus on our Digital applications and platforms.
  • Utilising your skills and drive will develop our support capability as well as working with our Digital teams and journey owners.
  • Work collaboratively across the Platform and Labs ensuring we deliver strong control of our technology and application landscape with in the compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Assist with, developing and supporting Lloyds Banking Group IT systems and services, to meet the quality standards that our customers expect.
  • Solve complex problems and diagnoses faults for emergency fixes, performance preventive maintenance routines, proactive monitoring and implementation of automation to prevent IT failures.
  • Investigate, analyse and diagnose IT service faults using log analysis and alertingamp; monitoring tooling.

  • Innovative and Service Engineering approach, with a desire to improve Service and ensuring our Service Management portfolio remains in control and delivers for our Customers.
  • Technical understanding of the platforms and applications we work with, coaching and training will be given but a desire to learn and understand technology is an advantage

  • A background within engineering, having experience a Service/Run function
  • Experience of Application Supportamp; Maintenance processes, ITIL is an advantage,
  • Hands on experience of modern DevOps tools and experience using industry standard analytic, diagnostic and monitoring tooling.
