Job Description

Web VERB is a digital marketing and technology agency located in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are passionate about exceeding expectations and we thrive on jobs other agencies might find too big, or too difficult, or too fast.Sound good Great, here’s who we’re looking for…Designers at VERB have multi-faceted roles where they lead the design of new web projects, and also assist with design systems and component production of existing web designs. They are familiar with working to achieve clients’ visions though distilling inspiration and infusing current brand voices, style, imagery, and video. This is a specialized role focusing on digital platforms, but experience in other areas of creative is a plus. What You Will Do

  • Design web interfaces using Figma.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers, developers, and product managers to translate user needs and business objectives into compelling designs.
  • Collaborate with Copywriters and SEO to create balanced, cohesive, and performance-driven designs
  • Develop and maintain consistent design systems and component libraries in Figma.
  • Conduct design internal and client-facing reviews and gather feedback to iterate and improve design solutions.
  • Stay up to date on the latest web design trends, usability best practices, and Figma features.
  • Ensure designs are AA-AAA accessible, pixel-perfect, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experince in creating modern, user-centric websites that align with brand strategy and drive business goals.
  • Advanced-Expert proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto layout, prototyping. Knowledge of variables is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing modern, responsive web designs and real-world project work.
  • Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable creating high-level conceptual work as well as production
