Our Canadian team has doubled in size over the last two years, and our growth is expected to rapidly continue as we transcend the landscape of future healthcare.We are actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Quality Manager to join our healthcare leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of overseeing delivery of exceptional patient care by meticulously monitoring, enhancing clinical processes, standards, and outcomes. As an integral member of our dynamic quality management team, you will collaborate closely with medical leadership, healthcare professionals across the organization, and other stakeholders to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, stay at the forefront of healthcare trends, integrating innovative strategies into quality improvement initiatives and health equity practices; act as a mentor and resource for clinical staff, fostering accountability and a commitment to quality standards; and champion the organization #39;s commitment to health equity by bringing attention to issues faced by rural Canadians, indigenous communities, and other underserved populations.Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Excellence: Oversee adherence to regulatory standards and best practices through leadership of healthcare credentialing and privileging committees.
  • Clinical Indicators: Collaborate cross-functionally to establish quantifiable performance indicators and benchmarks for clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience and health equity.
  • Clinical Performance: Evaluate and support optimization of clinical processes, workflows, and protocols to bolster efficiency, elevate safety, and drive superior care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Root Cause Mastery: Investigate adverse events, incidents, and clinical errors meticulously to identify root causes, coordinating corrective and preventive measures to preempt future occurrences.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Inform collection, analysis and interpretation of clinical data to unveil trends, patterns, and avenues for elevating patient care and clinical outcomes.
  • Education Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to develop education and communication strategies, impart quality improvement methodologies, best practices, and compliance standards for professionals.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Forge interdisciplinary partnerships to conceive and enact robust quality improvement plans that drive favorable clinical outcomes and amplify patient experiences.
  • Policy Innovation: Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical policies, protocols and procedures, ensuring they remain aligned with current evidence-based practices and regulatory requisites.
  • Data Custodianship: Maintain meticulous, up-to-date records for quality enhancement initiatives, audits, and compliance measures.
  • Insightful Reporting: Regularly prepare and present comprehensive reports on quality performance metrics, ongoing improvement projects, and well-informed recommendations for medical leadership.
Candidate Profile
  • Educational Excellence: Possess a Bachelor #39;s degree or higher in nursing, allied health, health sciences or health administration, with active registration in relevant regulatory college.
  • Experience Prowess: Present minimum of 5 years #39; experience within a healthcare environment. Proven ability to lead projects, drive change, foster a culture of continuous improvement and health equity.
  • Managerial Leadership: Present minimum of +3 years #39; experience of direct managerial/people leadership experience within the healthcare field
  • Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrate a profound comprehension of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Quality Savviness: Preferred background in organizational quality improvement and quality assurance, with a strong grasp of associated methodologies.
  • Certification Advantage: Certification in quality improvement is preferred. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Ingenuity: Possess an analytical mindset with the proficiency to decipher and leverage data for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration Mastery: Exhibit superb communication and interpersonal skills, adeptly fostering collaboration across multifaceted teams.
  • Detail-Focused: Showcase unwavering attention to detail and organizational prowess, coupled with an unwavering dedication to process enhancement. Detail-oriented mindset with a dedication to achieving the highest level of patient care across service areas.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in use of Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) and new technologies
