At the end of the day we lay the technical foundation used to make great movies and leading-edge games.DESCRIPTIONAre you an experienced accountant who enjoys working in an environment where precision and attention to detail are critical Do you have experience managing data records, licenses, warranties, vendor relations and working with QuickBooks Do you keep the books in a meticulous fashion, working carefully and reflecting on the results until you’re satisfied that the job is up to your exacting standards of accuracy and expertise If so, we #39;d like to meet you.THE CANDIDATEWe are looking for a sharp, self-disciplined Senior Accountant to support our team remotely. From AP to AR, you’ll be the expert we rely on to make sure our accounting is thorough and on target. You’ll need to create and maintain financial reports for the executive team, invoice and collect from customers, coordinate vendor payments, reconcile bank statements, and ensure deposits and payments are processed in a timely manner. We’ll also count on you to review statements and cash flow patterns and recommend any changes that will increase our bottom line.DUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full-cycle accounts receivable, including preparation of invoices and maintenance of customer and vendor records
  • Accounts Payable processing, including submission of purchase orders, payments to vendors, and vendor records maintenance
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, review for input accuracy, and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and journal entries as needed
  • Maintain company general ledger
  • Maintain, reconcile and ensure elimination of intercompany transactions
  • Maintain all business documents required for legal compliance, including state compliance and registrations
  • Coordinate annual budget and audit process
  • Maintain financial document retention files
  • Vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies
  • Prepare and/or review of all expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure
  • Inventory management
  • Perform other related duties as may be requested by executive and operations teams
  • Processing, reconciling and proper recording of domestic and international payroll via a 3rd party platform
  • Tax compliance, including payroll and salesamp; use tax filing, reconciliation and compliance
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP
  • Minimum five years of full-charge bookkeeping experience or operational finance and accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software, preference given for those with Quickbooks Online experience
  • Preference given to candidates with experience managing environments with multiple integrated software packages
  • Excel master who is comfortable digesting mountains of numbers into easily readable charts suitable for executive review
  • College level communication skills and the ability to create reports and presentations suitable for delivery in an executive forum
