Job Description

Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking a Lawn Maintenance Foreperson in Hamilton to join our team of talented individuals providing exceptional services related to the landscape construction industry. The position of Lawn Maintenance Foreperson will involve assisting in the daily management of maintenance projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors.Position: Lawn Maintenance ForepersonLocation: Hamilton, ON.Pay:

  • $25 - $32 per hour.
  • Benefits after 3 months of employment
  • Company-matching RRSP is available after one year.
Key Duties include:
  • Managing a crew of 3-5 people.
  • Mowing grass.
  • Flower bed maintenance.
  • Pulling weeds.
  • Trimming.
  • Raking.
  • Pruning.
  • Drive company truck and trailer.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid Driver’s License “G” is required.
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
  • Willingness to take appropriate classes to upgrade my knowledge.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work long hours and Saturdays as required.
  • Tolerance to various weather conditions.
