Job Description

Position Summary Under the general direction of the Manager, Slots, this position is responsible for overseeing slot operations on a shift basis at the site level. Assists with developing performance objectives and delivering per formance evaluations. Actively participates in the recruitment and hiring process. Ensures adherence to the Companys policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadians learning environment while establish ing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities

  • Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to the slot operations on a shift basis as well as provides input for team member p erformance objectives and evaluations
  • Schedules and supervises team members; verifies timesheets; assigns shift work assignments
  • Resolves customer disputes; reports irregularities, disputes and suspicious activities; prepares CRS Incident Reports
  • Assists with the implementation of Slot Operation initiatives at the site level; provides training
  • Maintains slot inventories and supplies
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Manages oth er initiatives as required
Education and Qualifications
  • Post Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in slot operations
  • Food Safety or Responsible Liquor Service Certification
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Work Environment Considerations
  • Regular office and casino environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required
